Step up the stairs and into Wrigleyville's hidden gem: The Newport
Theater is Chicago's home for fringe theater.

This 125-seat theater features an innovative mix of artist-produced
burlesque, drag, comedy, and variety shows. Our bar features a
selection of craft beers, cheap beers, wine, soft drinks and mixed
drinks (no food/no minimum).

From its origins as the Links Hall performance space to its
evolution as an improv/comedy theater, this intimate theater has
featured many voices over the years. The Newport strives to continue
this legacy by featuring a diversity of voices, perspectives, and
attitudes while steadfastly providing exceptional entertainment.

Our facility includes a 20'X13' mirrored dance studio/activity room and offer a variety of classes/programming in addition to private rentals.
